Irene Capuchino, MA, LMFT, LPCC, ATR-BC

Welcome!

My name is Irene Capuchino and I am a licensed therapist with 15 years experience providing individual, couples, and family therapy. I offer sessions virtually anywhere in California, or in person in Oakland, California.

I help people experience more vitality, authenticity, and joy in their relationships and everyday lives. Through both traditional talk therapy and creative art therapy approaches, I support individuals in getting "unstuck" and seeing clearly into their own hearts. This work frees people from debilitating emotions like guilt and shame while helping them regain balance and forward movement.

I'm deeply passionate about art therapy because it allows clients to explore their inner worlds through creative expression when words feel inadequate. Whether through conversation or process-based art making, I feel privileged to help people feel calmer and more optimistic about their unique life journey.
